Belarus? What can you find there? Come and discover this interesting post soviet country.
Belarus (White Russia) is the former Soviet republic mostly suffered from the Nazi occupation; numerous memorials are evidence of that. The most impressive of them is Khatyn memorial reflecting the tragic fate of a burnt Belarusian village. One will learn a lot about this country while travelling from Brest citadel to Slonim synagogue, from ancient Grodno to Mir and Nesvizh Radziwill castles, from Novogrudek, the homeland of the great Polish poet Adam Mickiewicz to Vitebsk the town of Marc Chagall, throughout the great Volozhin, Radin, Mir, Novardok yeshivas and finally to the capital Minsk hero-city exposing the typical architecture of 1950s.
Today’s cuisine of Belarusians includes many traditional dishes. The most popular are pork stew – Machanka, and Vereshchaka, homemade sausages, Draniki – thick potato pancakes, Kolduny or Kletski – dumplings, Babka baked grated potato pie, Cold Sorrel soup, Mushroom soup and so on. Since the times of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania the national culinary traditions have been a mix of Baltic, Slavic, Jewish and partly German cuisines.
Once Lithuania conquered Belarus and ruled it for a long time, so for us it is the same historical and cultural territory and our team knows it very well. We also have a good associates and professional guides. If you will not choose from standard offers, we will create a different balanced program for your tour, book hotel according to your preferences, provide professional driver with a good vehicle and the most important – will choose for you guides who specialize in different tour types and heritage aspects. Our team will recommend suitable restaurants and out the beaten path activity for those who seek for it.

I am planning to attend the International Jewish genealogical society conference in Warsaw Aug. 5-10. Afterwards I am interested in bringing my family on a roots tour to the shtetl of Lachva (40 miles from Pinsk) Belarus, Voloshin, and Vilna. None of your tours seem to go that far south. Because there may be 5 or 6 or more people involved (not sure about my California cousins yet), I wondered if you could arrange a private tour and what the costs would be. If my CA cousins came, they might want to also go to Riga. Any information you can provide would be helpful.
Thanks!
Dear Susan,

I come back to you with an itinerary and a price offer in a few days.
