Eesti is always proud of itself
We invite you to journey to the northernmost Baltic state – Estonia. You will explore the rigorous scenery of the islands Saaremaa and Hiiumaa, the university town Tartu, seaside resort Parnu and, of course, the capital of Tallinn. Tallinn is noted for its 15th-century fortifications, among the best preserved in Europe, as well as being the site of the 1980 Summer Olympics’ sailing event. Charming medieval streets, folk crafts, and cozy coffee shops will surely make your stay in Estonia pleasant and unforgettable.
Firstly, from Tallinn’s iconic Town Hall Square, you’ll want to explore Toompea Castle, a 13th-century marvel of architecture and today home to Estonia’s parliament. Other highlights are the beautiful Kadriorg park and palace, Lahemaa National Park, the imposing Alexander Nevski church, and an iconic memorial to the wreck of the Rusalka.
Estonians love pickled anything–pickled vegetables, pickled eels, pickled mushrooms. Other favorites are aspic or meat jelly, smoked sprats (smoked fish in oil), and of course the Baltic delight, rye bread. There are many tourist-oriented restaurants in Tallinn’s Old City, but if you’re with a Jerulita guide, we’ll point you out to that secret side street with excellent chefs. Prepare yourself for a long lunchtime, as they say in Tallinn, “Quality needs time!”
Our team knows the ins and outs of city of Tallinn and other travel highlights of Estonia. We’ve literally been there hundreds of times. You can choose from our pre-packaged tours or ask us to tailor one just for you.
