No. The content will include a lot of cultural and historical aspects. It will be a combination of city touring with nature sights and special culinary experiences.

Full-Day Tour in the capital of Lithuania – Vilnius. Learn how Vilnius became the capital of Grand Duchy of Lithuania and one of the largest and most powerful states in Medieval Europe. We will see the relicts of those glorious days on the streets of the city. Stroll the maze of Vilnius Old Town. Be impressed by baroque style architecture and hear why Lithuanians like to name themselves Italians of the North.
In the evening the participants will visit the culinary studio Ciop Ciop, where they will have a cooking class of classical Lithuanian Dinner, including the most famous Lithuanian soup that looks like a dessert.
In the morning we will visit the local market. It is the best place to get an idea about the traditions and habits of local shopping.
We want you to learn about nationalities that found their home in Lithuania. What did the Lithuanian cuisine absorb from Jewish, Polish or Russian minorities? Who are the Karaites? And what did they have in common with the most popular local street food?
In the second part of the day, our Food Tour will take a trip to the lakeside town of Trakai. It is a special experience to visit Lithuania in winter and to walk on ice frozen lakes. including a visit to the medieval castle on the island.
You will enjoy the traditional food in an Old tavern located in the 100 years old wooden house.
On the way to Palanga, we will stop for a tour in the second-largest Lithuanian City Kaunas. On the bus, we will speak about many aspects of local culture including a fascinating lecture about Lithuanian alcoholic drinks.
Next, on our agenda is a short walking tour in Kaunas. City, which was the temporary capital of Lithuania in the interwar period. If you have enjoyed a lecture about alcohol, you will definitely like the visit to a local beer brewery. Avylis is a small enterprise and they are always happy to offers a degustation and lunch to our clients.
Late in the afternoon, we will arrive at Lithuanian Seaside. We will have an overnight at Palanga. Palanga became the most popular seaside resort in Lithuania many years ago.
We invite you to participate in the most desirable winter entertainment in Lithuania – the annual Smelt Festival. You will try the winter fishing, sing, and dance together with locals on the streets of Palanga, and will hear the legends from Lithuanian fishermen. And of course, taste freshly cooked/smoked/fried Smelt fish.
In the morning we will say good buy to Lithuania and will depart to Latvia. Our first stop will be near Siauliai. At the Hill of Crosses – the symbol of Lithuanian Resistance against the Foreign Law.
In the afternoon we will arrive at Riga. Riga is the largest and most multicultural city in the Baltic region. Established in the 13th c. as a pure German city. Later on, Lithuanians, Poles, Swedes, and Russians concurred it, each one at a different time. Our guide will reveal this complicated history during the city tour of Riga.
In the evening experience the dinner in the Medieval Style restaurant and realize how long you could survive on the Medieval Epoque menu. It is not a hundred percent sure, but usually, we go to Rosenglals.
And for the bel canto of our tour we will take you to see all the beauty and splendor of Riga. It is walking in the Art Nuovo District with our guide.
Have a break at the cozy local café hidden in the Old Town, where we will taste the Black Magic Balsam and will hear the history of this Liquid Symbol of Riga.
